Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Housekeeping/ Laundry Assistant to be part of the team in Manor Care Centre. Located in the historic market town and fishing port of Nairn in the Scottish Highlands, Manor Care Centre is a purpose-built care home offering personalised nursing care to people with physical, neurological or learning disabilities.

Your role as a Meallmore Housekeeping Assistant will include:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
- Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.
- Daily completion of cleaning schedules and documents
Skills and Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

Salary: £10.50 + overtime rates + benefits
Hours: 18 per week
