Together with all People Services units in Wroclaw we are an international group of over 180 professionals (and growing!) who take care of major HR processes for Volvo Group globally and locally. Our teams make sure payroll is delivered, employment contracts are prepared or colleagues have their holiday days correctly calculated. We also support global HR processes such as salary reviews, talent management or internal learning and we can be proud of working with top notch innovations such as digitalization and robotics process automations.

We are currently looking for a proactive people & business manager, who will lead our People Operations Team for Poland, and who will help us take the employee experience and HR efforts to the next level. A person in this position will also work closely with country business colleagues as well as with a number of colleagues across the globe.

In order to be successful, we would like you to be enthusiastic about the job and responsibilities:
  • Stabilize and develop HR business deliveries towards our Polish market
  • Establish and maintain efficient communication flow with the internal colleagues and relevant stakeholders, drive decided actions and initiate own
  • Take proactive decisions in order to secure operational readiness; secure business continuity to mitigate the impact of unplanned events
  • Proactively identify and implement modern technology opportunities
  • Build the competences and deliveries for future needs according to the strategic direction
  • Provide mature line and business leadership to 30+ employees

Finally, in order to be successful, you will need to meet the following requirements:
  • Professional level of awareness in Polish HR administration and payroll, with prior management experience in those areas
  • Demonstrate high level in people and business leadership competencies, with prior leadership experience
  • Fluency in Polish and English
  • Ability to analyze and present results in a structured manner
  • Strong business acumen and good delegation skills
  • Proactivity, can-do attitude, and solution focus
  • Ability to establish successful business relations and build successful teams
  • Genuine care for employees, their engagement and development
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to present at senior management level
  • High energy level, ability to multitask and respond to dynamic changes
  • Problem-solving and judgment skills, attention to detail, prioritization skills
