Waiter/Waitress [Nigeria]


 

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders and communicating them effectively to the kitchen.
  • Memorizing the menu and offering recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language using appropriate etiquette.
  • Always respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Should be fully aware of the menu along with their prices.
  • Establish rapport with guests to build loyal and satisfied customers.
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and any special offers.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess OND or similar qualifications
  • Knowledge of computers, POS - Point of sales system.
  • 1 to 2 years’ proven restaurant serving or waitering experience.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work longer hours as per business demand.
  • Be courteous, professional and provide efficient service
  • Presentable, smart, and young.
  • Must be very hardworking and honest with keen attention to cleanliness, safety, patience and customer-oriented approach,
  • Must have friendly attitude, responsible and trustworthy.
