Responsibilities
- Welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders and communicating them effectively to the kitchen.
- Memorizing the menu and offering recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language using appropriate etiquette.
- Always respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Should be fully aware of the menu along with their prices.
- Establish rapport with guests to build loyal and satisfied customers.
- Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and any special offers.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess OND or similar qualifications
- Knowledge of computers, POS - Point of sales system.
- 1 to 2 years’ proven restaurant serving or waitering experience.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work longer hours as per business demand.
- Be courteous, professional and provide efficient service
- Presentable, smart, and young.
- Must be very hardworking and honest with keen attention to cleanliness, safety, patience and customer-oriented approach,
- Must have friendly attitude, responsible and trustworthy.
